After 22 years as the Hospitality Manager of the Grant Street Inn, Paul Wagoner will be stepping into retirement beginning July 24, 2026. We are thrilled to announce that Austin Francalancia will join CFC Properties as our new Hospitality Manager, beginning Monday, May 4, 2026. The Hospitality Manager is responsible for overall management of the historic Grant Street Inn. Austin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University. Immediately after graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, California becoming a production and acquisition executive, working on Oscar and Emmy winning productions. After returning to Bloomington, Austin worked as the Hospitality & Operations Manager at The Mill, which rebranded and expanded into Amplify Bloomington, where he most recently served as the Community Manager. Austin is also an Adjunct Instructor at the IU Media School and founded Hoosier Media Solutions in 2024. I am incredibly honored to join the CFC Properties team and to step into a role that Paul has handled with such dedication. The Grant Street Inn is a cornerstone of Bloomington’s hospitality, and I look forward to building upon the high standard of excellence Paul established while bringing my own passion for our community to the team, said Francalancia.
Austin will be working directly with Paul over the next few months to understand and familiarize himself with the staff, buildings, policies & procedures and manager responsibilities. The opportunity to manage the Grant Street Inn for the past 22 years has been a true honor and privilege. I could not be more excited to hand the reins of the Inn over to Austin. I have no doubt that he will offer fresh energy and vision, as well as multiple opportunities for new partnerships throughout the Bloomington community. Most importantly, I feel Austin is the perfect person to lead our amazing staff at the Grant Street Inn and move forward into a bright and successful future, said Wagoner. An Open House Reception will be announced for a later date should you like to extend Paul well wishes in his retirement, as well as meeting and welcoming Austin in his new role at the Grant Street Inn.
