Featuring New Offerings like Directing for the Theater and KPop Demon HuntersAfter a successful Fall 2025, Constellation Stage & Screen is excited to introduce a diverse line-up of spring classes, running January through May 2026! With engaging courses in all areas of performing arts for Littles (grades K-2), Kids (grades 3-6), Teens (grades 7-9), and Adults (ages 18+), there’s something for everyone! For Littles (grades K-2), Constellation is bringing back popular offerings with exciting, kid-friendly themes, like Theater Playground: Onward, Up, and Inside Out and Musical Theater Playground: A Spongebob Seussical Musical Showdown. Also included in Littles spring lineup is Acting Ensemble for Littles: Toy Story Live!, a confidence-building exploration of the beginning-to-end process of putting on a play. Meanwhile, Kids (grades 3-6) will dive into beloved stories and cinematic worlds in our Acting Ensemble for Kids: The Secret Garden and The Pixar Players classes, both offered for Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. For kids and teens (grades 3-4 & 5-8) with an interest in musical theater, Constellation is bringing back the in-demand Broadway Kids In Concert series with the beloved Broadway classic, Annie. In addition to the return of these inspiring classes for budding artists, Constellation is thrilled to introduce a new moviemaking class for tweens and teens: KPop Demon Hunters: A Live-Action Moviemaking Mission (Grades 6-9). This class will immerse students in the high-energy world of filmmaking, both in front of and behind the camera, as they blend pop culture and action to create their own cinematic masterpiece!
This spring, Constellation will also be offering a number of new classes for adults (ages 18+), including Playwriting: The Monologue and Documentary Filmmaking Fundamentals. Theater enthusiasts can also enroll in Directing for the Theater: A Crash Course, a specialized deep dive into the craft of staging a production. In addition to these new offerings, we’ll be bringing back popular adult programs like Improv: Beginner, Improv: Beyond Beginner, The Broadway Ensemble for Adults, the stage-focused Acting for the Theater: Scene Study Essentials and the screen-focused Acting on Camera: At the Dinner Table. When looking toward the spring, Constellation’s Education Director, Eric Shelley, is most excited to see how diversified programming across age levels, genres, and disciplines will connect, engage, and empower the community. “In addition to introducing new disciplines like directing and documentary filmmaking to our spring line-up, we continue to expand our improv program and offer an array of acting and musical theater classes that explore both classic and modern works. From The Secret Garden and Toy Story to KPop Demon Hunters and Annie In Concert, Spring 2026 promises to be our most dynamic session yet.” Enrollment for all of Constellation’s spring classes is officially open. Classes range in price from $115-$225, depending on the length and level of the class. Registration can be found on the Constellation Stage & Screen website. Constellation is committed to increasing access to educational programming, offering scholarships on all classes for students grades K-12. These scholarships are sponsored by IU Credit Union and allow qualified students to attend a Constellation class at no cost to them. Information on scholarship application and eligibility can be found here. For questions contact Constellation’s Education Director Eric Shelley at [email protected].
