Community Impact Brief for Strut to Success

Strut to Success was created to give girls a safe space to build confidence, strengthen identity, and develop leadership skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

This past quarter, we officially launched Teen Strut Circle at Bachelor Middle School, where 16 seventh-grade girls participated in a structured leadership cohort focused on identity development, emotional wellness, healthy friendships, and confidence.

While this is just the beginning, it represents an important step toward building something sustainable and meaningful for girls in our community.

Below you’ll find our Quarter 1 Community Impact Brief, which highlights:
• The launch of Teen Strut Circle
• Our early program impact
• Our plans to expand access to more girls across Monroe County
• The development of the future Black Patent Leather Pump Mentorship Program

We are currently working to strengthen school partnerships, build a mentor network, and establish the organizational infrastructure necessary to support long-term growth.

As this work continues to grow, I’m also excited to introduce something new.

Introducing the Inner Strut Circle
The Inner Strut Circle is a community of monthly supporters who believe in investing in the leadership, confidence, and emotional wellness of girls.

Monthly supporters help make it possible for us to:
• Expand Teen Strut Circle to serve more girls
• Build a strong mentor network
• Develop leadership initiatives like the Black Patent Leather Pump Mentorship Program
• Strengthen the long-term sustainability of Strut to Success

Even a small monthly contribution helps ensure that girls in our community continue to have access to spaces where they are encouraged to grow, lead, and believe in themselves.
