The City of Bloomington Office of the City Clerk is accepting applications to fill a vacant position (Common Council appointed seat) on the Commission on Sustainability.
The Commission on Sustainability is promotes economic development, environmental health, and social equity in our community for present and future generations. The commission gathers and disseminates information; promotes practical initiatives; and measures, monitors, and reports on our community’s progress toward sustainability. The membership on the commission is limited to residents of the city. The commission usually meets the second Tuesday of each month in the McCloskey Room at City Hall starting at 6:00 p.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.
