September 1: Middle Way House Raffle Ticket Sales, 12 – 2 pm

Show your support for Bloomington’s Middle Way House by buying a raffle ticket for a chance to win two concert tickets to see Taylor Swift on November 1st at Lucas Oil Stadium in support of Middle Way House’s Wrapped in Love fundraiser!

September 4: Wholehearted Book Club, 7 – 8 pm

The monthly meeting of the Wholehearted Book Club at Morgenstern Books, hosted by Molly McDonald from Cocuun! The read for September is Life in Five Senses by Gretchen Rubin.

September 5: Author Wendy Kline, 7:30 – 8:30 pm

Join us in the Morgenstern Books café for an evening with author Wendy Kline in conversation with the Kinsey Institute’s Jessica Hille, discussing Kline’s new book, Exposed: The Hidden History of the Pelvic Exam.

September 6: Card Game Night (Friday Nights at Morgenstern’s), 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Join us in the Morgenstern Books café for an evening with classic cards games like Uno and Skip-Bo!

September 7: Multicultural Storytime, 10 – 11 am

The IU Cognitive Development Lab is in the Morgenstern Books children’s department for their monthly multicultural storytime, featuring stories in other languages! In September, they’ll be reading in Japanese and English.

September 8: Middle Way House Raffle Ticket Sales, 12 – 2 pm

September 8: St. Mark’s Book Drive Kick-Off, 2 pm

Help support the St. Mark’s Library and their book drive for the week of September 8 – 15th. There will be a kick-off party to start the book drive on the 8th, with an afternoon of music, poetry, and books!

September 9: Murder Mystery Book Club, 7 – 8 pm

The monthly meeting of the Murder Mystery Book Club at Morgenstern Books, hosted by bookseller and mystery/thriller expert, Grace! The read for September is The Couple at the Table by Sophia Hannah.

September 10: Author Laura Marris, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Join us in the Morgenstern Books café for an evening with author Laura Marris in conversation with Bill Johnston, discussing Marris’s book of essays, The Age of Loneliness.

September 11: Author Robert Rebein, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Join us in the Morgenstern Books café for an evening in conversation with Robert Rebein about his latest novel, The Last Rancher.

September 12: Author Emily Jon Tobias, 7 – 8 pm

Join us in the Morgenstern Books café for an evening with author Emily Jon Tobias in conversation with author Angela Jackson Brown, discussing the former’s latest book, Monarch.

September 13: Origami Night (Friday Nights at Morgenstern’s), 6;30 – 8:30 pm

Bring your dexterous hands for an evening of origami folding in the Morgenstern Books café!

September 13: Romance Book Club, 7 – 8 pm

The monthly meeting of the Romance Book Club at Morgenstern Books, hosted by our resident romance girlie, Ryann! The read for September is The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava.

September 15: Middle Way House Raffle Ticket Sales, 12 – 2 pm
