![]() As Duke Energy resumes standard billing and payment practices, we remain committed to helping our customers experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We realize the financial impact of the pandemic is far from over. That’s why we’re taking a gradual approach, giving those customers who need extra time an opportunity to reach out for assistance. Our resumption of standard billing and credit practices will occur in mid-August. Disconnections for nonpayment and late payments fees will remain suspended until Sept. 15. Credit and debit card fees and walk-in payment fees will be waived through the end of October. Customers still facing financial challenges can request an extended payment arrangement quickly and easily: And customers with more complex issues who need to speak with us can call a customer care representative Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 800.521.2232 for residential customers and 800.774.1202 for business customers. Matrix Integration, an IT solutions provider for more than 1,000 businesses and schools in Indiana, Kentucky and beyond, today announced the acquisition of Cornwell Communications, Inc. of Bloomington, Ind. This will be the fourth location for Matrix Integration, which also has offices in Jasper, Ind., Fishers, Ind. and Louisville, Ky.
![]() At a time when many businesses are having to reallocate their budgets to stay afloat, Matrix Integration, an IT solutions provider for more than 1,000 businesses and schools in Indiana, Kentucky and beyond, has developed MiAssurance. Essentially, MiAssurance provides businesses with an entire IT department at their fingertips at a fraction of the cost of hiring their own. The event, which attracts hundreds of participants to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease, will look different this year. Instead of hosting a large gathering, the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter is encouraging participants to walk as individuals or in small groups on sidewalks, tracks and trails across the Bloomington area.
On Walk day, an Opening Ceremony will feature local speakers and a presentation of Promise Flowers to honor the personal reasons participants join together to fight Alzheimer’s and all other dementia, all delivered to participants' smartphones, tablets and computers.
