April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the critical need to support children and families in foster care. Nationwide, at least 1 in 7 children experience abuse or neglect. The mission of Monroe County CASA is to advocate for these vulnerable children in our community, working to connect them and their families with resources and improve their outcomes.

Monroe County CASA is seeking community members who are willing to contribute to our efforts to prevent harm to children by helping to spread awareness and share prevention education materials.
