Assistant Director of The Success School
As the Assistant Director of The Success School, I help coordinate events for the Chamber's Success School. I connect our wonderful Chamber volunteers to programs in our schools so they can share their knowledge and entrepreneurial skills with our students!
I am a first year MPA student at IU's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, concentrating in Nonprofit Management. I am from Jasper, IN and attended IU for undergrad to study Sociology and Spanish. After graduating, I served with AmeriCorps as a college advisor for high school students in Crawford County and Paoli, IN. I worked with amazing students, many who were the first in their families to attend college. I am passionate about advocating for higher education access and providing our students with as many resources and options as possible, so they be successful in pursuing their future goals.
In my leisure time I like to read, go to coffee shops, and hike/run around Bloomington. One thing I have recently been learning is how to balance self-discipline and grace. I want to be constantly learning and improving, but must accept I will make mistakes, and how to learn from them to continue to progress and grow. A fun fact about me is that I have two pet donkeys: Hector and Paco.
