Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy

More than 1 in 6 students
in the US do not reach the baseline level of
proficiency in financial literacy.
- Council for Economic Education
The Success School is continuing to build out financial literacy programming. Currently, our flagship program is the Reality Store® which is for all junior high students in the greater Monroe County area. The Reality Store® is a simulation that helps junior high students appreciate the ‘realities’ of life and achieve a better understanding of personal finance.

During COVID-19, we have been working to compile a range of interactive financial literacy resources. We offer a variety of options for elementary through high school students. This includes games like Peter Pig's Money Counter which teaches kids to identify and count money!
