Bloomington, IN – The public is invited to join Chamber members on Thursday, July 15, 2020 at the annual Health & Business Conference hosted by the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce from 9:00am to 10:30am. The conference will be a virtual webinar via Zoom.
The program will be focused around the current COVID-19 crisis and how the Bloomington medical community has responded and will continue to handle the situation locally. Brian Shockney, President of IU Health South Central Region, and Dr. Dan Handel, Chief Medical Officer for IU Health South Central Region will offer insights on the local implications of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will also include a Q&A portion where attendees will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have surrounding the COVID-19 health crisis.
“This year’s Health and Business luncheon will be one of our most-informative,” said Erin Predmore, President and CEO of The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce. “Our business community has been impacted greatly by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are looking forward to hearing from IU Health and giving our business community the opportunity to ask questions they may have not yet had the chance to ask in other settings.”
Sponsors for the Health & Business Conference include Indiana University Health, IU Health Plans, Building Associates, Bill C. Brown Associates, Bloomington Health Foundation, Ivy Tech Community College, and German American Bank. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.
