Autumn MarshallO'Neill Service Corps Advocacy & Public Policy Fellow
[email protected] As the Advocacy & Public Policy Fellow for the Chamber, I aim to keep stakeholders informed on local government issues, engage others in educated civic discussions, and be the best advocate I can be for the business community. My main role is to research, monitor, and analyze public policy issues that affect the local business climate.
I work at the Chamber as an O’Neill Fellow, which is a fellowship program under IU’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. I am a Masters of Public Affairs and International Affairs candidate, expected to graduate in 2027. Before I enrolled, I was an AmeriCorps member hosted by a local regional planning district in Muncie. My role was to collaborate with community leaders to expand broadband and economic development in the region, which is where my interest in local government started. I aspire to become an impactful public servant. I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and got my undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I majored in Political Science and Environmental Science and completed 5 internships during my time at Miami. When I am not working or at school, I am spending quality time with my little family, which includes my wife and dog. My wife and I are Miami Mergers (if you know, you know), and we love exploring Bloomington, its restaurants, and attending community events. I also love cooking, baking, hiking, and “riling up the dog.” |
