Letter from Past Chamber President Steve Howard re: the Chamber's Re-Branding Project

Dear Valued Chamber Member,

I am pleased to announce that the Chamber has embarked on a process to improve our services to members. It is called “re-branding.” A long-term project devoted to examining Chamber services and communications from the ground up, this initiative will allow us to help you be more successful.

The project, facilitated by Bloomington firm Cairril.com Design & Marketing, will result in a new visual identity (logo, color scheme, etc.), new marketing materials, and a comprehensive strategy for helping you get the most from your Chamber membership.

Most important, re-branding will benefit you, with:

• Clearer communication about Chamber services and programs
• Better use of communication channels to deliver the information you need in the way you want it
• Improved membership benefits to increase your bottom line
• Clear, consistent, assertive advocacy on the issues that matter to you
• Better use of Chamber resources to deliver the results you want
• More dynamic visual identity to symbolize the Chamber’s contributions to members and the community
• More user-friendly website to deliver information quickly in a way that’s easy for you to access
To help us be even more responsive to your needs, we need your input! We’re asking all Chamber members to complete a simple online survey at www.ChamberBloomington.org. If you don’t have Internet access, call the Chamber at (812) 336-6381 to receive a paper copy of the survey. It’s essential we understand your needs and perceptions as we begin this initiative.
