At MainSource, our vision to be a great bank is achieved through our purpose of meeting the financial needs of our customers for life. As the Relationship Manager I am responsible for the day to day tasks and duties that keep the branch running like a well-oiled machine. My responsibilities include but are not limited to all operational duties, internal audit maintenance, teller work, account opening and maintenance, consumer lending, and small business lending. I work closely with my team and my clients. One of the things I enjoy most about my job is working with people. I am passionate about providing top notch customer service and a personal banking experience. It’s a good feeling to know that you can make someone’s day better by simply doing the best that you can do and being the best that you can be.
• How long have you lived in Bloomington and what brought you here?
I moved to Bloomington from Columbus, IN in 2005 to attend IU. I graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Criminology with minors in Psychology, Gender studies, and Spanish. I worked for a few years as a bartender at Yogis, a local pub and grill establishment, before finding my way in the professional world with an opportunity to come and work for MainSource. That puts me in Bloomington right at about 11 years. The time sure flies.
• What is one word you would use to describe Bloomington?
• What is your favorite Bloomington tradition?
My favorite Bloomington tradition would have to be the Yogis NCAA tournament bracket contest. My friends and I have been watching games there together for years both with me as an employee and now as a patron. Nothing compares to the first 4 days of the tournament hanging with your friends in your favorite bar. I have a lot of great memories there over the years.
• Where can you be found on the weekends and spare time?
Weather permitting you can find me at the lake boating, hiking, or canoeing with my wonderful boyfriend Kurt. Otherwise, you can find us at home hanging with our 3 cats and 6 chickens or at our favorite local restaurant, No Coast Reserve, knockin’ back the oysters!
