For those of us in cubeland, sometimes we need meeting places outside the office. Breakfast meetings serve as an excellent opportunity to collaborate and connect with others, along with being a great way to kick-off the work day. Whether it's meeting a coworker, casual networking or taking a client out for a cup of coffee, we are lucky to have so many options for meeting spaces in Bloomington. Here are some of our favorites!

  • Needmore Coffee Roasters: A new addition to the east side on Pete Ellis Drive, Needmore Coffee Roasters is a woman-owned small-batch coffee roastery dedicated to roasting organic, ethically sourced coffee from the finest small-scale farmers around the world.
  • Stefano's Ice Cafe: Stefano's is a classic downtown eatery. This family owned business always makes you feel welcome in their quiet and cozy corner of Fountain Square Mall. Be sure to try their fresh-baked pastries!
  • The Uptown Cafe: A Bloomington landmark since 1976, the Uptown is always an excellent choice for a breakfast meeting. The crème brûlée french toast is incredible and don't miss Michael's home fries!
  • Bloomington Bagel Company: BBC is open as early as 6 am at the Kirkwood location, so this is a good option for early-birds. Bring your own mug for a dollar coffee refill.
  • Cup & Kettle: This brand new tea shop is a great spot to share a pot of tea. They have several varieties of loose leaf teas that they blend themselves.
  • Crumble Coffee & Bakery: Crumble has two locations, and we adore their new downtown spot. It has lots of tables for meetings, including one long table that could be used for a group.
  • Hopscotch Coffee: With a new location downtown on Madison in addition to their original cafe located on the B-Line trail, this local roaster is a great spot for meetings. Try their patio on the B-line for seating.

For more cafes and restaurants around town, check out The Chamber's online directory!
