The Chamber's Annual Meeting & Community AwardsThe Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce's highly anticipated event, the Annual Meeting & Community Awards, unfolds each September, serving as the pinnacle of our calendar.
This meeting provides an exclusive year-in-review, highlighting our combined triumphs, showcasing noteworthy member achievements, and offering a comprehensive insight into the future direction of The Chamber. This opportunity allows you to be in sync with our strategic vision, positioning you to better leverage the Chamber's resources in the upcoming year. The Annual Meeting & Community Awards is the platform where we honor our members who have significantly contributed to our shared success. Business After HoursBusiness After Hours, organized by The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, is a prestigious networking event that offers our Chamber member professionals the chance to connect, engage, and foster meaningful relationships. Each month, the event takes place at a different location - with our member businesses working alongside caterers to provide delightful food and drink options. As a complimentary event for any employee of a Chamber member business to attend, we encourage attendees to bring their business cards, and ensure our Ambassadors are available to guide new attendees, making introductions and setting the tone for productive networking.

The Chamber's Elect Connect events are unique platforms that bring Bloomington and Monroe County election candidates into thoughtful dialogues with our local businesses throughout the year.
Elect Connect provides the opportunity to engage with elected officials on a variety of topics of importance to local business. These can include affordable housing, infrastructure and roads, zoning, business development and the future of Bloomington and Monroe County. |
Federal FocusThe Chamber's Federal Focus is part of The Chamber's objective to open dialogue and interaction with our governmental leaders. Over the years The Chamber has welcomed a variety of federal elected officials as keynote speakers to the Federal Focus event, including U.S. Senators Todd Young and Mike Braun, and U.S. Representatives Trey Hollingsworth and Erin Houchin.
As part of our commitment to promoting open dialogue with decision-makers, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce presents an annual Federal Focus event. This highly anticipated gathering welcomes federal elected officials as keynote speakers, offering attendees an exclusive opportunity to engage directly with the leaders shaping our nation's policy landscape. |
FuturecastIn collaboration with the Bloomington Rotary Club, Futurecast gathers a panel of economic experts from IU’s Kelley School of Business, and local leaders. This panel of experts imparts valuable insights, offering attendees a comprehensive forecast of the economic outlook for the coming year at federal, state, county, and city levels. There is always a great deal of information presented, and attendees walk away from better understanding of how local business is impacted from all levels.

Golf ScrambleThe Chamber's Golf Scramble stands as one of the most esteemed and anticipated golf events in our area, drawing a diverse crowd of avid golfers and leisure players alike. Legislative PreviewAt this event, held each January, state legislators representing Bloomington/Monroe County share insights about the year's Indiana General Assembly session.
