The Chamber's Annual Meeting & Community Awards Nominations
Community Award Categories & Criteria
- The nominee must be a member of The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, or employed by a member organization / business.
- A person/organization may be nominated in more than one category. However each nomination must be submitted separately.
- Please share why the nominee is deserving of the award. (It’s better to include too much information than not enough.)
- Do not let a deserving nominee be overlooked! Even if you are not certain of all of the information or if you do not have enough time to complete the form, complete what you can and Chamber staff can assist with additional details.
- Please submit your nomination by Monday, July 24thh at 5:00pm.
New Business of the YearRecognizes a business or organization that has existed for less than five years.

Business of the YearRecognizes a business or organization that has existed for five years or more.

Community AnchorRecognizes a business or organization that has contributed positively to the local community over a sustained period.

Nancy Howard Diversity AwardRecognizes organizations that demonstrate a commitment to attracting a diverse workforce and maintaining an environment in which all can be successful.

4 Under 40Recognizes young professionals that make a significant impact within their organization through their leadership and work ethic, while also giving back to the community through civic involvement.
**The nominees must be younger than 40 years of age before August 1, 2023. **The nominees must not have won the award in the past (see list of past recipients here). |
Lifetime Achievement AwardRecognizes individuals who have had an immeasurable impact on our community over a sustained period.
