The Monroe County Council plans to vote on whether or not to impose a food and beverage tax to help fund the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center expansion project. The vote is expected to take place in June at the earliest. As that date approaches, council members are hoping to get public input to determine how much public support is behind the project.
