Chamber Programs

The Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is committed to provide its members and the community with professional development programs that will enhance knowledge and understanding of business concepts, theories and best practices. Chamber staff working alongside community partners develops these highly dynamic and informative seminars, workshops and programming – offered at low or no-cost to members and the community.


ABC's (About Business Connections Series) is an educational series offered to provide business information on topics of interest to small business owners, manager and leaders. Educationally-focused with an added networking component, ABC sessions are designed to accommodate a smaller group and are usually held over the lunch hour. This series is open to the public and the cost is either included with a Chamber membership or discounted for Chamber members.


Green Business Bloomington is an environmental recognition program of the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce that encourages members to formulate goals and a plan of action that will help move businesses down the path to environmental sustainability.


Healthy Business Bloomington is an initiative taking progressive and active measures to address workplace wellness at the organizational level. The initiative aims to help lower total health care costs, improve the health of our community’s citizens, and assist organizations in making the most effective health-related choices for their organization.The program is committed to helping local businesses achieve their wellness goals, and/or jumpstart the creation of a more comprehensive wellness program within the organization.


Women Excel Bloomington consists of informative lunches aimed to create a relaxed but dynamic environment where women can learn from the experiences of other women, brainstorm ideas, and discuss issues relevant to them.


Workshop360: Human Resources, presented in partnership with the South Central Indiana Human Resource Association consists of a series of workshops that give attendees a complete overview of the critical area of human resources.
