The Chamber communicates with our members and the community on the issues, concerns and activities that matter most to them. We utilize every communication channel to ensure critical information is disseminated in a timely and effective manner.
All members, and those on our e-mailing list, receive bi-monthly copies of Membership Matters; a copy of the Chamber’s Business Network and other electronic updates on Business-After-Hours and other events.
We also make every effort to tailor the information to the specific needs of each member. If your interest lies in learning more about networking opportunities, you will receive any updates or communications in that area. If you need to be aware of breaking advocacy and public policy issues, you may sign up to receive those specific updates.
It’s just one way the Chamber’s provides great member service!

Our Publications
Membership Matters is the bi-monthly e-newsletter sent to the full membership and those on our mailing list. It is chocked full of information regarding Chamber events and programs; an Advocacy Update; Business-After-Hours calendar; and our members’ favorite section: Good News! This is the section where members can provide good news about things happening within their businesses.
Business Network is our monthly publication produced in partnership with the Herald-Times. Each issue focuses on a specific topic, using in-depth articles on our Chamber members to help illustrate the particular issue. New members and ribbon cutting events are also featured, as are our lists of Gold Members and renewing members. Chamber members are encouraged to submit their business’s good news for the
Chamber Briefs section. A Spotlight section focuses on a Chamber Member.
Chamber INsider is our new blog featuring content by staff members and guest writers. Updated regularly, the blog is the place to go to find out whats going on at The Chamber and in the Bloomington business community. Featuring member good news and updates on upcoming events, Chamber INsider is your one stop shop for everything Chamber related.
Friday Fax is our fax update that is released every Friday to all members. This gives high level overviews of events and programs in an ad-format.
